Online Nitya Living Camp for Tween/Teens

Online camp for tweens and teens ages 10+ 

Experience the joy of being united as one, during this two-day live online Yoga camp for tweens and teens. Come together to learn and practice Yoga through spiritual discussions, Hatha Yoga practice, meditation, deep relaxation, chanting, and sharing. 

Live sessions with Nitya at 10–11 am, and 2–3 pm (EDT) each Tuesday.

Day 1 | July 7

  • Discuss the 6 Branches of Yoga
  • Hatha Yoga practice—sun salutations
  • Meditate during a reading from To Know Yourself by Swami Satchidananda
  • Journal about the 6 Branches of Yoga in your own life and discuss how this helps you understand who you are
  • Self-inquiry with inspiration cards and sharing circle
  • Hatha Yoga practice with pranayama and Yoga Nidra


Day 2 | July 14

*Please bring a mala to class*

  • Discuss Japa Yoga and the role of Bhakti in illuminating the power of mantra
  • Read from To Know Yourself by Swami Satchidananda
  • Chant Hari Om and Om Shanti
  • Practice Japa Yoga with mantra of Om Shanti
  • Hatha Yoga Practice – sun salutations
  • Journal about how Bhakti and Japa Yoga help you understand who you are and connect you to God/Source/your Guru. Can the power of your mantra benefit the world?
  • Self-inquiry with inspiration cards and sharing circle
  • Hatha Yoga Practice with pranayama and Yoga Nidra


You will also have access to an online social community to connect and communicate with other participants about this course.

Nitya Griffith
