Love Me Rituals: Self-Care for Yoga Teachers, Bodyworkers, and Healers

Do you spend most of your time taking care of others and little to no time taking care of yourself?

In this online workshop, join Dana Smith to explore mindful meditation and eating practices, as well as Yoga asanas to balance the chakras, and daily “Love Me” rituals that will soothe your mind, body, and soul.

  • Rituals for the Mind: meditation, positive affirmations, and mindfulness exercises
  • Rituals for the Body: foot reflexology, Yoga asanas, and self-massage techniques
  • Rituals for the Spirit: forgiveness rituals, personal cacao ceremony, and pranayama


Self-care isn't just for the body. Learn tools to maintain peace and balance in the mind, body, and emotions. You will be heard and supported in a safe space while learning powerful practices that are easy to incorporate into even the busiest of schedules.

Live sessions with Dana Smith on Saturday at 10–11:30 am and 2–3:30 pm and Sunday 10–11:30 am EDT. 

In addition, you will have access to the Ashram’s Live Hatha Yoga classes at 5 pm, recorded Ashram meditations, and inspiring talk with Sri Swami Satchidananda. You will also have access to an online social community to connect and communicate with other participants about this course.

The main program sessions are live and all sessions are in EDT. The live sessions will be recorded and posted to the Online Programs access page if you are unable to join us live for that session. Recordings* are usually posted within one day and are available to program participants and presenter(s) only.
*You're welcome to turn off your camera if you don't wish your image to be recorded.

You will have access to the video recordings for 8 weeks after the program ends, until November 29.

Dana A. Smith is the founder and owner of Spiritual Essence Yoga and the creative visionary behind the international YES! Yoga Has Curves movement. She is a wife, mother, certified yoga instructor, author, yoga teacher trainer, master life coach and holistic health practitioner. For almost 20 years, she has been a pioneer for inclusive yoga in the West with a simple, yet profound, message: “Yoga is for EVERYbody!”.

As the creator of Jiivana (L.I.F.E.) Yoga®, a National Yoga Alliance approved and registered yoga style, Dana guides students and teachers-in-training in a dynamic experience of yoga as a powerful tool for total life transformation. Even though she has trained nearly 300 yoga teachers since 2008, she considers herself a lifelong student and continues to seek inspiration through workshops and advanced studies.  Dana’s style of teaching draws on Ashtanga, Iyengar, and Vinyasa roots with the aim to usher practitioners to live inspired, fearless and empowered every day—on and off the mat.  Her work has been featured on NBC4, FOX5, The Examiner, Essence Magazine, WHUR, NPR, and Black Enterprise.
